Description
Sea turtle hatchlings instinctively head toward safety and nourishment in the Sargasso habitat. The first time I saw a sea turtle emerge from an egg, race across the sand and into the roiling waves, I was stunned to think of the challenges these living creatures face. This painting is one of many in my observations of sea turtles.
